USC Women's Basketball: Superstar Trojan Makes Another Hall Of Fame

Former USC women's basketball star Cheryl Miller has been inducted into another Hall of Fame as part of the 2024 California Hall of Fame class.

Miller was inducted along with nine other California icons, including Helene An, Willie L.Brown, Jr., Vinton G. Cerf, Ava DuVernay, The Go-Go's, Thelton E. Henderson, Los Lobos, Leon E. Panetta and Brenda Way.

This is just one of the many Hall of Fames that Miller has made, after previously being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, Women's Basketball of Fame, International Women's Sports Hall of Fame, FIBA Hall of Fame and USC Athletics Hall of Fame.

The former USC legend is widely considered one of the greatest women's college basketball players of all time, and is still the USC leader in points, rebounds, free throws and points per game decades later. She helped USC win two NCAA championships and was named the Naismith Player of the Year three times.

Outside of her team at USC, she also represented Team USA in various international competitions and helped lead them to gold at the 1984 Olympic Games and the 1986 FIBA World Championships.

Since her competitive days, Miller has worked as both a college basketball and WNBA coach, including as part of the USC coaching staff from 1986-1991 before becoming the Trojans head coach from 1993-1995. Miller has also worked as a sports broadcaster.

In her free time, she has been seen supporting the current Trojans while attending multiple USC basketball games this season, including coming to USC's home win over UCLA and Sunday's USC loss to Washington.
